The fact is, per the NIH, the Moderna vaccine was in clinical trials as early as March 2020. Hopefully you are smart enough to know you cannot start testing something...i.e. clinical trial...until
after it is developed. Therefore your "no vaccine" comment was
NOT TRUE. There was a vaccine, it just had not received an EUA. Wording something poorly can be described as misspoken.
Addtionally, Biden didn't "inherit" anything until he took the oath of office on 1/20/21. So, when he actually "inherited" things the country was more than a month into having vaccines administered. Even with the Trump Vaccines, there were still more COVID deaths under Biden than Trump.
