He was orders of magnitude more present and clear than he has been in years. I was shocked by his performance. The drugs they injected into the poor old gas bag worked miracles. He was angry the entire time he spoke. He blamed everything on Trump! From the border crisis to crime - everything. He took no responsibility for the border fiasco, for fiascos in Ukraine, in Afghanistan, or in the Middle East. He wants more taxes, taxes and taxes. But, claims he's bringing down inflation by tackling how many chips companies put in bags.
He was old, out of touch, and pandered only to his base. Not to mention, he looked completely lost several times, stumbled, bumbled and caughed his way through the speech. This scared Bernie Sanders so much that Bernie slapped on his medical mask.
His lies and self serving bromides were disgusting and verminous - but his ability to stand there and deliver them was prodigious, relative to his performance during his pResidency.
