Not in all things or every measure, but I would never have conceived the FDA would fast track testing an unknown drug over a known one which showed equal efficacy in vitro. This is the end of the line for that agency as a neutral arbiter with some industry-tie issues. It's now manifestly a captive agency, completely useless and untrustworthy in all things, by my lights.
