Your hypothetical won't happen. so there is no reason to answer it. because neither Bernie or Kamala represent personal liberty to understand life in plain sight. If the two leading candidates for President this year were Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris, and they were the ONLY TWO candidates who had a realistic chance of winning the election, which one would you vote for?
