If we accept that paradigm, what, then, do we say about China and Russia? 

Does this America-centered corporatocracy run those countries, as well - and all of the thrusting and parrying is but a puppet show?

Good question. I can't say much about Russia, but China's companies are ranked 6th in the world on the Fortune 500. Russia isn't in the top 10. America is first with a revenue of 7.7 Trillion. The second is Japan at 2.6 Trillion. China at 1.1 trillion. That also shows how America can be considered the central headquarter for corporations.
