MY ONLY POINT WAS THAT WESTERN CANADA, VANCOUVER, WAS WHERE THE SOCIALIST LABOR PARTY WAS FORMED. IT BECAME A NATIONAL PARTY IN THE 1930'S TORONTO.
Here is a link to the history of the Social Credit Party which was a conservative movement in BC and Alberta that arose in response to the great depression.
