The most suspect part isn't even the EBT privacy / balance part, it's the "my brother only gets $90/month in disability."
That seems EXTREMELY low...most SSI recipients get at least $600/month IIRC. I met a black man in Sacramento (CA) 3 months ago and he said he received disability payments to the tune of $6K/mo.
No doubt some people have fine-tuned their "maximize welfare $$" craft over the past 5-9 years...
