A box of rocks is more intelligent. I will explain why. 

Let's compare

Rocks
If I had a box of rocks in front of me, then I could learn more from those rocks than I could the average American. I could examine them, to which it would reveal patterns, special properties, colors, and other molecular formations. It could lead me to ask intelligent questions that would leave me more knowledgeable after examining them than before. I could come up with intelligent conclusions like finding similarities of these rocks with surrounding rocks in my area. The differences , as well. Those differences would be just as important as the similarities. It would give me some insight about the area in which I live.
