Capitalism does not appear to act like a free market

However, I don't see a lot of the free market concept going on within the corporate landscape. For example, let's consider Amazon. An empire worth billions. That company couldn't run without the warehouses. They are the essence of what keeps Amazon alive. Yes, the sellers can be private merchants. but a large percentage of their orders are fulfilled by their warehouses. The workers there get paid **** and it's like they work in a prison. It is not uncommon that many people who get paid crap must depend on the state for extra living expenses. Well...who pays for that? We do. Not Amazon. Therefore, how can we call it a free market when a large portion of a company's workforce depends on tax payers?

Sounds more like a mafia organization.
