2020: Food prices increased by 3.5% for food-at-home and 3.4% for food-away-from-home.
2021: Food prices increased by 3.9%.
2022: Food prices increased by 9.9%, the fastest increase since 1979.
2023: Food prices increased by 5.8%.
For example, the average price of a dozen eggs increased by 54% from November 2020 to March 2024.
