So your idiotic claim is that Israel WANTED Hamas to rape, torture, maim, burn infants alive, and murder over 1200 innocent men, women, and children and kidnap hundreds of others who have been tortured and killed inside Israel, huh?
Did they also want Hamas and Hezbollah to continue firing hundreds of Iranian-made missiles and rockets at them?
If such stupidity was true, why would Israel have EVER have offered peace deals with them?
