If Youre "Closed" Shut your Signs & Lights Off

I dont know this has been long term or just recently.
Lately drive thru town late at night got the big sign and some still got the lighted "Open" Sign in the Door but its midnight.
I stopped pulling in awhile ago figured out that nowadays people are just ignorant nobody taught em shut the lights and signs off when ya lock the door.
When I was growing up people shut stuff off even my parents yell at me if I left a light on because they hadda pay the electric bill..
Today ya close at say 8/9 oclock but ya leave all the lights and even the "Open" Sign on but doors "Locked" and those with rolling Iron Gates over the doors "Secure"
Anyways if ya "Closed" shut your lights and signs off so people dont waste their time pulling in
