Doing automotive restorations gobbles up a lot of grinding wheels and sandpaper.
At Harbor Freight 20 years ago a 10 pack of Chinese grinding wheels cost $5. I think the going rate for "name brands" made elsewhere was 2 to 4 times that
Same goes for paint spray guns..instead of paying $100s for a DeVilbiss you could buy a decent gun at HF for as low as $15....and a cheap $100 HF air compressor has enough ooomph to keep up with a HVLP gun.
