there is no reason to say that the tariffs will bring prices down, more likely to raise prices higher than they have ever been. trump has already said bringing down prices may not attainable.
he is not going to enhance security at the border, only apply tariffs.

Trump has exactly ZERO concern about what Russia wants in Israel.
The point of putting tariffs on foreign countries is not intended to bring prices down and never was. It is an attempt to bring fairness to our international trade which Trump is demanding. Trump's plan to lower prices will start with making gas, heating oil, and diesel fuel cheaper by reversing Biden's regulations, restrictions, and costs to the oil industry and restarting the Keystone and other pipelines that Biden has cancelled. Lower energy prices are what will bring down prices of food and most other goods.
And Trump has NEVER said that bringing down prices may not be attainable. He said it will be very hard. That's very different.

And in that regard, Trump will DEFINITELY enhance security at the border by completing construction of the wall and by ordering the border patrol to stop allowing illegals to cross and requiring asylum seekers to stay in Mexico, NOT in the US to await their hearing.
