He released the information to the FBI and CIA. From what I gathered he reported lookups from the white house and trump tower to Russian IPs.

He was under contract at the time to look at these servers.

And I've seen no evidence he shared that with a political source.

Tech 1 gave it to a Clinton campaign lawyer who reported it. that is the allegation.
