Just when folks thought Rep. Byron Donalds couldn’t sink any lower when it comes to his relationship with President Donald Trump, he keeps proving them wrong. In a Sunday interview with Fox News, Donalds referred to Trump as “daddy” while expressing his excitement for MAGA to return to the White House.

“When Americans see deportations or repatriations happen, they’re gonna be like, ‘Thank you,’” Donalds said per The Hill. “When they see the border closed, they’re gonna say, ‘This is what I voted for.’ When they see peace starting to break out again around the world, they’re gonna be like, ‘This is the stability that we were asking for.’”

Donalds added, “Daddy’s back.” 

He is not the only political figure to call Trump a paternal figure. Rep. Lauren Boebert, Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson have also deemed Trump a father-figure. Even MAGA rapper Tom MacDonald and Roseanne Bar have an unbelievably horrible song using this exact verbiage called, “Daddy’s Home.”
