The regulators DID have it covered.
For fifty **** years. The regulations ushered in the biggest boom in America history. FDR's game rules CREATED the American middle class. Getting off those game rules was the beginning of the end of that middle class. It has been in retreat since.
It was the DE-regulators who **** it off - not the regulators. And they were not "blind-sided. " They struck with nintendo-like precision. Mesmerized yahoos cheering for any and all "deregalayshun" were blind sided - right in the brown eye.
The notion that in order to stop piracy we have to micro-manage regular joes is part and parcel of the afore-mentioned mesmerization.
Then Limbaugh convinced cons that CORPS love the people.
I bought into it myself.
