In Europe they spend something like 14 thousand a year for preschool per child.
In the US, almost nothing.
Studies show that paying for preschool pays dividends.
It reduces crime on our city streets.
Doesn't anybody care about this ****?

If only I had 2 minutes to debate you with all you did while you were in the Senate,
I think I'd be wasting 2 minutes of my time.
In reality, when compared to other highly industrialized nations, teachers' salaries are (depending on which study you view) are in either eight or ninth place from the top salaried countries. In one of the world's richest countries.
And the same studies indicate that in order for teachers' salaries to match the highest paid salaries, they would have to INCREASE BY 40 TO 60 PERCENT.
Further proof (imo) that America doesn't REALLY give a flying about their kid's education.
And this whole phony CRT thing and the other attacks upon education from the right are essentially to achieve another goal of theirs. That being, the SAME people who lament "government handouts" want EXACTLY THAT.
They want VOUCHERS to send their kids to private and parochial schools for FREE.
