This time, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), one of the two most powerful Democrats in the country along with Chuck Schumer, has
this to say about the agenda Trump was decisively elected to enact:
“We are going to fight it legislatively. We are going to fight it in the courts. We’re going to fight it in the streets.”
Given the context of recent history, few would assume that fighting in the streets refers to waiving placards with Democrat slogans scribbled on them.
