Pretty much right.  GenXer's (far more than Boomers) want to be wealthy, in control of their own destinies and self-sufficient.  They have sort of a  F- the world attitude, as long as they are doing the F-ing.

Are you Gen X also? I don't know if we want to **** anyone. We just want to be left alone. It's more of a 'if you don't bother us, then we won't bother you' mentality. We kept ourselves out of the social norms and prefer to do the bare minimum to get by and say **** the whole extra mile ****.
