He has displayed his weakness in logic, in statistics, in research. He was a lazy student - this much is quite clear. 

He has ONE trick - and he ain't no pony. That trick is to look for anything he can snipe about, while assiduously avoiding taking a firm position that anyone ELSE can snipe at. This makes classic debate impossible - which is precisely what weak thinkers require of any dust-up. They understand they are incompetent to defend any thesis they make assert, and so they assert none. They content themselves with sniping. If they assert an opinion, you may bet the family farm that it is not their own opinion but the opinion of someone they feel safe in standing behind.

That is why he axes so many kwershtyuns, busily taking notes with his pyouncil. He is just looking for something to snipe at, rather than seeking truth - the objective of the Socratic Method which he eschews.
