How I am close to certain that the US will buy Canadian provinces and Greenland.

I would like to see these proposed annexations subjected to a nationwide popularity poll.
I seriously doubt a majority of US Citizens want to see these happen against the will of the Canadian and Danish populations.
Who in their right mind wants to make millions more people angry enough with us to kill...?
