Explain to the board how allowing slave made goods manufactured with zero environmental or worker safety protections does not say to an American worker, "If you want to get this job back, work in dangerous conditions for a pittance, and pollute your children's air and water."
We'll wait, Clem. Explain that. How does allowing slave made goods into our market NOT put American workers on notice that they can have their jobs back if they agree to slave wages? And how does rewarding environmental degradation and police state tactics against labor NOT co-sign such behaviors? How does building China's war machine benefit us, when they are our only military threat in Asia?
