Chyna refuses to enter any of its autos into Nascar because they are forced to turn left, and they don't want to be commies like the US.

US based performance engine companies [Mom & Pop operations]  have  taken the hottest engines that GM, Ford and Mopar have ever  built...disassembled them, painstakingly measured and degreed each and every part. 
Then they send the drawings and specs to China to have all the parts cloned. 
In some cases the Chinks are also doing final assembly and testing of the engines, then shipping them back here RTR.
Some USA based companies just sell the Chinese made parts as rebuild kits. SCAT is the name of one such company that sells this cheap Chinese crap  [OK their stuff is passable]    
Some companies are taking the Chinese parts and doing their own QA inspections and their own final assembly.
The end result are Knock Off engines that are less than what Ford, GM and Mopar can sell theirs for.
