Our local repair guy said a customer came in with a 2016 Tahoe or equivalent complaining it wouldn't shut off...of course they couldn't replicate it, so the guy went home, calls as it wouldn't shut off...mechanic went out to his place, and sure as ****, there it was, purring away...brought it back, started working on ignition switch, not it...2 days and 3k later, they figured out it was the rear blind spot sensors in the corners of the bumper were corroded...he drove off in a sour mood over dropping the 3k on an old vehicle, but thankful...
I kind of went "sheesh" at the price, but he said all of the wire tracing is time consuming not to mention having to pull the rear bumper, etc...
