Two of hundreds of national treasures under the boot of woke. Point Reyes, Muir Woods, Yosemite - hell, San Francisco. The beauty of that city - beneath the turds, mind, but the beauty - is unparalleled. Those Victorians are simply irreplaceable in today's labor and materials environment. Santa Cruz without the hippies would be a lovely place - and wine country? Oh, man - my wife and I used to ride horses at a vineyard not far from San Jose. It was really otherworldly how beautiful California was. We used to hand feed deer banana peels at a golf course very near Monterey.
