I guess there's a difference.
Tragedy + time is quite different from tragedy + timing.
It may be as subtle as punctuation changing the meaning of a phrase.
This AA guy told me about one in the blue book they use.
In the book it says: "What an order! I can't go through with it."
He always says it as though the punctuation is: "What? An Order? I can't go through with it."
