My 401 had a Money Market option which is something I assumed all plans have until I discovered that some don't.
What a bitter pill for those who are close to retirement with no way to protect their nest egg.
I dont have much in 401k except afew old jobs but I aint old enough cash them out without paying full taxes yet.
I mostly saved up my ca$h in the Credit Union but only last afew years get real Interest Rates on a "C/D" again.
Currently my "Certificate Of Deposit" covers my Property Taxes but I also have to pay income tax on that Interest I earned too
