I'm almost done with all the site prep / utilities work for a new house and am in a "holding pattern" waiting for building materials prices to reach another 20 year low.
Back in the day ya still buy a "Base Model" a stick shift and crank windows but ya could "Save Up" put half down make double payments have that Title in ya name afew years later.
Today a freaking Kia cost as much a house used too.
And today cars got abuncha extra crap too pads that price another extra 10 or 15 grand from the get go too.
