This was the Kenosha Engine plant back in the 1980s Quality Appreciation Day.
The Bodies were made at the Lakefront plant actually shipped across town get guts put in them and shipped back final finnishing.
Chrysler initially American Motors had spare capacity at its Kenosha and Milwaukee plants Lee Iaccocca struck a deal with em started making Chrysler Cars for em.
After the Buyout completed 1988 the Lakefront Body Plant was Torn Down afew years later.
The Engine Plant across town "Survived" another 20 some years but only employed a quarter the workers but designed and made some of Chryslers most iconic motors too that lasted them a generation too
