I have heard that Irish immigrants received a free train ride to fish oysters on the Chesapeake Bay upon arrival at Ellis Island "Back in the Day". One way ticket to captivity on a boat. No bed in a room in a house. There are like less than 5% of the Oysters in the bay that were there in the late 1800's today, I think it may be as low as 1%. Humanity ate them up and the Bay is full of shyt now. Maryland and Virginia had Oyster Wars.
