Increased temperatures lead to higher evaporation rates, while altered precipitation patterns result in prolonged droughts and, paradoxically, more severe flooding events. Projection from the same people who predicted an ice age in the 1970's. Same people who said the Earth could not sustain the current population.  Same people who claimed the seas would be dead in 10 years, 30 years ago.  Why would anyone listen to them?
