speaking of summer parkas, in '74 a buddy enlisted into the AF to report Monday morning. Friday we we went on a 36 hr 1800 mile trip out to the Black Hills and Devils Tower...
in mid South Dakota @90 degrees, there stood a really big dude hitchhiking in a fully zippered hood up snorkel parka with the fur lined opening...you couldn't even see his face...needless to say, we kept driving as he had to an axe murderer..
