1. Trump has been relentless calling Joe Biden "stupid", "incompetent", "demented", etc. I'm sure even 'ol Sleepy Joe gets rather insulted by this. And, on top of what the Democrats did to him - He probably can't let it go.
2. Jill Biden - she's probably pushing him to defend his legacy, defend her name.
3. Biden simply thinks he's more important than he ever was and still wants to be looked upon as the leader of the opposition to Trump.
politicians are always so full of themselves they think their opinions are so important long after they've died on the political vine...
