Vigilante justice en masse will never end up in a good place.
Seeing people pay the piper in a legal way would be fine if judges stopped the activism.
That goes for elected **** too.

People don't like it when rich elitists get off scott free.
Doesn't mean vandals and illegals should run loose as if some societal debt is owed...
People don't like it when scumbag trash get off scott free, either.

Bring back some goddamned accountability. Expect it from everybody.
Vigilantism is never discussed when the law is working for the people. No need for it - the law is working for the people.

It is only discussed when the law - which belongs to the people - is stolen from them and used against them. That is when they begin to talk about taking it back.

They call it "taking the law into your own hands." But this assumes the law ever LEFT our hands. Just because I hire you to mow my lawn, that doesn't mean that I cannot mow it, myself. ESPECIALLY when you refuse to mow it - when you begin bowing to the crab grass. The law belongs to the people. If the cops won't enforce it, the people must. Rittenhouse understood this. So did Zimmerman. So did those men's juries.
