But in remarks published Thursday by the Forward, a Jewish publication, Martin apologized for praising Hale-Cusanelli as “an extraordinary man, and extraordinary leader” while presenting him with an honorary award from Martin’s nonprofit group on Aug. 14 at Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
