Ms. Leavitt had ripped into Amazon on Tuesday morning while standing beside Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. She said that she had just been talking on the phone with the president about the Punchbowl report, and she also asked aloud in her briefing why Amazon hadn’t done such a thing when prices increased during the Biden administration because of inflation. Ms. Leavitt said it was “not a surprise” coming from Amazon, as she held up a copy of a 2021 article from Reuters with the headline “Amazon partnered with China propaganda arm.”

Let's begin with the Biden Dodge.

Inflation isn't a policy, it is a consequence.

Its causes are reasonably well established.

Tariffs are Grifty's policy tool. Their consequences are entirely discretionary. Don't want to pay the cost?

Don't impose them.

But if you call yourself Tariff Man, you own it.

I do not disagree with your response to Ms. Leavitt - but then, I still revolt against the term Ms, preferring that a woman's honorific expose her marital status, and I'm not a fan of anyone named Leavitt. So, you're in bad company here. 

But what impels me to contribute is this: Trump put MUCH harsher tariffs on Russia than Obama had done, AND... Trump was the first to provide CoupKraine with lethal aid. So if you honestly thought that someone was a "pootie cockholster," that person would be the halfrican that gave Putin Crimea - not the orange dream. But then, you are not honest and do not think, so your honest thoughts are a thing of fiction.
