The very best time to buy an expensive safe, or upgrade to a more expensive safe, is when the wife suggests it. If you don't seize the moment, that is a sad, missed opportunity. There may be one exception to this rule, and that would be @Imgreatagain. If you were married to her (significant other, etc), she might be the one moving your junk to the side to make room for her own choice firearms. That's why I wondered how one is moved. I think I should get one. Right now most are in cases standing in a closet except for the black ones. Those ones are where we can get our hands on them
