first of all russia will be really mad. instead of trying to reach a peace deal trump's solution is to give ukraine more weapons. instead of trying to get ukraine to stop trying to join nato which could put weapons on russia's border. there a couple of other things russia wants like ukraine to forget about crimea, but instead of trying to reach a peace deal trump is opting for a permanent war in ukraine.
