The 60 Minutes interview that President Donald Trump claims was “deceptively” cut to favor his 2024 Democratic presidential rival Kamala Harris — and is the subject of his $20 billion CBS lawsuit — is now up for an Emmy in the “Outstanding Edited Interview” category.
The October interview with Harris, which aired during the 2024 election cycle, was nominated Thursday alongside sit-downs with Celine Dion, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, Pope Francis, and Brittney Griner. But unlike the others, this one comes with a federal investigation and the weight of a lawsuit launched by the sitting president.
