I think it will more likely be some more Houthi attacks on US ships and civilian ships navigating that stretch of the world. What Trump's military will do is go into Yemen and find enough evidence to tie Iran to Houthi attacks on "world assets", to justify unleashing the Israelis on Iran. Erdogan is NATO. He will sit it out. Russia and China? They'll happily use the Persians as a club, as we did the CoupKrainians. But CoupKraine isn't sitting on a power keg. It is nicely contained, bordered entirely by secure and prosperous nation states. Things can go sideway in a quick hurry, if Trump does play stupid for his owners.
