It's not an objective, it's a consequence.
I don't wear tank tops or tight shirts, don't go to the beach....I "go out" 4x per year.
I did TKD for 12 years and learned that being in "combat condition" makes golf and skiing much better....
Skiing, on a tight budget" will cost you 300/day - before amortizing the cost of your gear...showing up at 9,000 feet in **** shape is just pissing your money away - and may kill you.
I love it enough to spend 400 hrs in the gym getting ready for my 10-15 days...
I want the whole mountain and don't want to ski it like an old man.
