What does def fluid do?

since the 2012 model years an EPA Regulation by the way.

To cut emissions and pollution Truck Manufacturers added a "Diesel Particulate Filter" and the DEF FLUID to the deal.

Whats funny is when that DIESEL PARTICULATE Filter "Clogs" ya gotta break out the owners manual and park set a hard "Reset" as per manufauturers instruction booklet.

Now when ya park somewhere set a "Full Reset" it runs like 2500 rpms a half hour or so.

Thick Black Smoke too whole time and even warnings that on asphalt could get hot enough set blacktop on Fire.

So basically as ya Driving instead of out the Smokestacks this filter catches all that crap and ya burn it off later in a parking lot I guess
