Not many.. people hate anyone with intelligence. Being born by the beltway has turned out to be a curse lately.
Work barely puts up with me. They really don't like me now because I told them the tariffs will wreck our enterprise and it is happening. Folks are getting laid off, sales is struggling to bring any work in. Canada was a big customer as the heat moves north and they need ice. We are going to lose that work because 90% of everything that goes in our skids is foreign sourced and our pricing is jacked because of tariffs. Our Canadian Sister Operation is expanding and hiring. There is a job there for me when I need it. That and interest rates are still up so no one can borrow money to invest in systems. Tariifs have limited our market. We have 400 million phoollks who are either pissed of at Trump or pissed that Trump is not doing what he said he was going to do.
Riding the political train is hard at home. Mrs gets sick of it. Especially when I have a few beers and start my ranting and lamenting....
My Best Friend is a MAGA Evangelical. It is getting hard to have any kind of meaningful dialogue with him.
