There you have it folks....you can't trust China or what it manufactures....
Problems already found in American and Europe....
Why do this if they have no intention of using it?
China needs to be exempted from the world's community of nations...
The Chinese once again lives up to their stereotyping of being "sneaky and criminally untrustworthy"
There is a lot of truth to stereotyping as we see over ad over again
The good news is there are several American Mfgs of solar charge controllers.
The bad news is they could be using Chinese components.
About 30 years ago Bob Carver of Carver stereo had a well dressed Chinaman show up at his shop one day with a briefcase.
Inside the briefcase were circuit cards that were clones of Carver power amps.
Bob checked the Chinese cards "fidelity" on a comparator and they checked out clean as a whistle.
The kicker was that the price RTR was about 1/10th of what it cost to go American made.
A guy can only be so patriotic when many of his competitors are Asian Sweatshop Owners.
