Thanks for the info. So you're suggesting that if a person worked as an executive pulling down income into 6 digits for 30 years, but then lost their job at 60 years old and took a job as a Walmart greeter, then their social security payments would be based on the minimum wage they were paid in the 2-1/2 years prior to retirement regardless of the average they paid in over the prior 30 years?
