Exactly. The go-to response from the Israel lovers is that the people elected Hamas, so they get what they voted for. They refuse to research the truth behind it. Hamas won an election in 2006 because they convinced the people that they will be liberated from the tyrannical regime that currently ruled them. Then after they got elected, Hamas did a complete 180 on the people. They terminated all elections since then. The people of Palestine haven't had elections in almost 20 years. They went from one oppressive government to another.
