I appreciate that MAGAts are averting their eyes from the NFL - with all those uppity black quarterbacks and the kneeling....but this expression is quite common in pro sports...

It has nothing to do with an "assassination list". The only person declaring Ben Shapiro "the next man up" is Ben Shapiro.
