But the fact is that both Kimmel and Colbert only were useful to the networks to continually attack Trump every night, as both owners hated him and hoped that their nightly negativity about Trump would keep him from winning the election last year. Once THAT plan failed, there was no reason keep paying such huge multi-million dollar salaries to those two unfunny idiots.
