High density cities are packed with poor people witout jobs or hope, & IT IS ALWAYS U RNC PISS ANTS WHO ENSURE that their gangs can get HIGH POWERED LONG GUNS, WITH HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINES, FROM OTHER STATES to fight their turf wars!
OK, so I'll put the same question to ANOTHER ignorant pollyanna liberal.  WHAT IS IT THAT MAKES A LIBERAL LIKE YOU THINK THAT CRIMINALS WILL OBEY THOSE GREAT NEW REGULATIONS THAT YOU STUPIDLY BELIEVE WILL STOP GUN VIOLENCE?

And beyond that, WHY THE HELL DO YOU INSIST ON TAKING GUNS AWAY FROM LAW-ABIDING AMERICANS WHICH THEY NEED TO USE TO DEFEND THEMSELVES WITH AGAINST CRIMINALS/GANGS/DRUG DEALERS/RAPISTS/LOOTERS, especially when liberal cities are DEFUNDING the police who are so ill-equipped to handle the current skyrocketing crime levels?

When you answer those simple questions, I'm curious to know if you also believe in a similar solution to stop drunk drivers from killing people by taking away all the cars from LAW-ABIDING drivers?
Isn't that the same thing, you moron?

Oh, and your belief that the expired assault weapons ban reduced mass shootings is complete ****!:
Studies Find No Evidence That Assault Weapon Bans Reduce Homicide Rates
The studies, data, and examination of the available evidence by scholars suggest that assault weapon bans or buybacks will have little if any effect on rates of violent crime and gun violence.

Between 1994 and 2004, the federal government banned the manufacture, sale, or transfer of assault weapons and large-capacity magazines.  A subsequent Department of Justice study found no evidence that the ban had had any effect on gun violence and stated that “should it be renewed, the ban’s effects on gun violence are likely to be small at best and perhaps too small for reliable measurement.”

A recent study published this year in the Journal of General Internal Medicine examined state gun control policies and found no statistically significant relationship between assault weapon or large-capacity magazine bans and homicide rates. A Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMAstudy came to the same conclusion.
